Probably the most spectacular of the AUSTRALIAN FINCHES, the GOULDIAN is well known for its breath taking colours. It is easy to sex and will breed in a cage or avairy. It is most successful when a minimum temperature of 13C(55F) can be maintained, and a temperature of 15C ( 60F) is desirable when breeding. Adark nest box is prefered and chicks can be reared on seed and soft food.
